CITY OF GIBRALTAR REGULAR COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS FEBRUARY 9, 2026 The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Gibraltar convened at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 29450 Munro Avenue, Gibraltar, MI. 48173 Present: Boismier, Cox, Dill, LaPointe, McNabb, Molnar Absent: Shumate COUNCIL TOOK THE FOLLOWING ACTION: 26-035 Excuse Mayor Shumate as absent. 26-036 Approve the agenda. 26-037 Approve the consent agenda as follows: A) Bills Reference #15, B) Payroll #998 & #999, C) City Council Minutes of 1/26/2026, D) City Council Special Meeting Minutes of 1/26/2026, E) Police Department Report for 2/9/2026, F) Fire Department Report for 2/9/2026, G) Renewal of ESRI Annual GIS Subscription, H) Renewal of MSW Stormwater Annual Permit. 26-038 Allow Councilman Molnar to abstain from the upcoming vote to award the bid for an HVAC maintenance service contract for the City. 26-039 Award the 4-year HVAC maintenance service contract to Flo-Aire Heating & Cooling Co. based on the recommendation of the DPW Director in the best interest of the City. (Motion failed.) 26-040 Approve the purchase of a Husqvarna gas plate compactor. 26-041 Approve the training proposal from CGS Safety Training for Aerial Work Platform Training. 26-042 Approve the training proposal from CGS Safety Training for Confined Space Training. 26-043 Send Lt. Trush and Sgt. Seifert to Module 1 Dispatch Training with Equature. 26-044 Approve Police Chief Bullard to attend Eastern Michigan University’s Staff & Command Executive Leadership Program in 2026. 26-045 Appoint T. Garant to the Board of Review. 26-046 Appoint J.
