SPRINGFIELD CHARTER TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF SPRINGFIELD, COUNTY OF OAKLAND MICHIGAN: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Election will be held for Springfield Township voters in the Brandon School District (Precinct 5A) on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Groveland Township Hall 4695 Grange Hall Rd., Holly Michigan. Shall Brandon School District, Oakland and Lapeer Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Thirty-Nine Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($39,500,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefor, in one or more series, for the purpose of: Remodeling, including security improvements to, furnishing and refurnishing, and equipping and re-equipping school buildings; acquiring and installing instructional technology and instructional technology equipment for school buildings; purchasing school buses; and developing and improving athletic fields and facilities and sites? Sample ballots can also be found at www.grovelandmi.gov (follow the link to Secretary of State); they may also be obtained at the Springfield Township Clerk’s Office Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact the Springfield Township Clerk at (248) 846-6510 to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot. To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instruction in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the Groveland Township Clerk in advance of the election.
