SPRINGFIELD CHARTER TOWNSHIP REQUEST FOR SPECIAL LAND USE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Springfield Charter Township has received a request for Special Land Use for the following: Establishment of a new solid waste processing and transfer facility with outdoor storage at 9732 Andersonville Road, which is on the east side of Andersonville Road, just north of Northwest Court. The proposal includes the development of a 6,048SF containment structure. The property is 3.45 acres and is zoned M2 – Heavy Industrial, P.I. #07-26-326-038. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that oral and written comments on the Special Land Use request will be received at a PUBLIC HEARING to be held at a Regular Meeting of the Springfield Township Planning Commission on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Springfield Township Civic Center, 12000 Davisburg Rd., Davisburg, MI. A copy of the site plan and other information related to the request may be reviewed at the Township Clerk's Office, 12000 Davisburg Rd., Davisburg, MI during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Written comments may be submitted to the Springfield Township Clerk up until the time of the Public Hearing.
