PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF ROYAL OAK, MI NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR SPECIAL LAND USE APPLICATIONS The Planning Commission of Royal Oak Township will hold public hearings at a Special Meeting on October 14, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 2010 of the Tri-County Educational Center, located at 21131 Garden Ln, Ferndale, MI 48220. A public hearing is a portion of a meeting which is dedicated to hearing comments from the public on a specific subject. The following items shall be the subject of the public hearings: 1. Special Land Use Application – To permit a Mini Ware house, Self-Storage, and Warehousing/ Wholesale Activities at 10550 W. 8 Mile Road (Parcel ID: 25-32-451-023). 2. Special Land Use Application – Of Used Car Sales and Major Auto Repair at 8925 & 8917 Northend (Parcel ID: 25-32-451-023). Written comments may be sent to the Township Planner up until 12:00 p.m. on October 13, 2025 via email at dsmith@mcka.com or by mail to the Township Manager, 21131 Garden Lane, Room #203, Ferndale, MI 48220.
