CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BROWNSTOWN WAYNE COUNTY, MICHIGAN ORDINANCE NO. 141 - 80 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 141-45 BY AMENDING SECTION 14.03(C)(2) BY INCREASING THE WIDTH OF ALL NON-MOTORIZED PATHWAYS FROM EIGHT FEET TO TEN FEET, AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, REPEALER, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. The Charter Township of Brownstown Ordains: Section 1: Ordinance No. 141-45, “ZONING ORDINANCE”, Section 14.03(c)(2) shall now provide: “(2) All non-motorized pathways shall be at least ten (10) feet wide asphalt and constructed in accordance with the specifications of the governing agency.” Section 2. Severability. If any article, section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Ordinance shall be held invalid, the invalidity of such article, section, paragraph, clause or provision shall not affect any of the other provisions of this Ordinance. Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions or orders, or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance to the extent of such conflict, are hereby repealed. 1st Reading Township Board approved on November 3, 2025 2nd Reading to be adopted by the Township Board on December 1, 2025.
