NOTICE OF ADOPTION Bruce Township Board Ordinance No. 161-03-25 Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Board adopted an amendment to the Bruce Township Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance 161) at its regular meeting of Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The amendment changes the zoning map as follows: Following a request by Christopher Newby, the property at 275 East Gates (parcel ID 01-35-180-045) has been conditionally rezoned from R-1-B One-Family Residential to C-1 Local Commercial. The property is 0.689 acres. The conditions of the rezoning limit the use of the property to those uses permitted in the R-1-B district and the use of the property to operate a chocolate and ice cream shop. A complete copy of the amendments may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. These ordinances shall be effective seven days following publication. This notice is published pursuant to the requirements of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, PA 110 of 2006, as amended.
