NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF MELVINDALE POLICE AND FIRE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Melvindale will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 or as soon thereafter as it can be heard at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City of Melvindale City Hall, located at 3100 Oakwood Blvd., Melvindale, MI 48122. The purpose of the hearing is to hear comments regarding the estimated costs and expenses of police and fire protection, the amount of the special assessment levy for such police and fire protection and for the distribution of the special assessment levy. The Public is invited to attend and comment on the proposals during the Public Hearing or to make written comments on or before November 5, 2025. The City of Melvindale will provide reasonable accommodations for those individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services. Notification should be received in the City Clerk’s Office at least three (3) days prior to the public hearing. David Zajac City Clerk
