CITY OF PONTIAC DEPARTMENT OF GRANTS & PHILANTHROPY PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of Public Hearing and 30-Day Public Comment Period The City of Pontiac is announcing a Public Hearing and the opening of a 30-day public comment period for a Substantial Amendment to the Consolidated Plan for Program Year, 2024 - 2028. This proposed Substantial Amendment includes the following changes: • Addition of PY 2024 Housing Counseling services for Down Payment Assistance Program • Addition of PY 2024 CDBG funds to address urgent housing rehabilitation needs • Addition of PY 2025 HOME funding in the amount of $433,685.59 • Addition of PY 2025 City Council Re-District Map as required for HUD and federal compliance. Public Hearing Details: To be held during the City Council Meeting Date: Monday, November 10, 2025 Time: 6:00 pm Location: City Hall, City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, City Hall 47450 Woodward Ave., Pontiac, MI 48342 Purpose: To hold a public hearing and to provide citizens with an opportunity to comment on the proposed Substantial Amendment to the Consolidated Plan. 30-Day Public Comment Period: Start Date: November 10, 2025, end Date: December 10, 2025 Citizens, community organizations, and interested parties are encouraged to submit written comments regarding the proposed Substantial Amendment.
