CLAIR SHORES PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE 2025 BENJAMIN STATLER CANAL DREDGING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CANAL THROUGH DREDGING TO REVIEW THE ASSESSMENT ROLL AND HEAR OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION OF THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ROLL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of St. Clair Shores has created a Special Assessment District for public improvement through canal dredging of the Benjamin Statler Canal. Copies of the proposed assessment roll and map are on file in the Office of the City Clerk, 27600 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores, Michigan. A Public Hearing will be held by and before the City Council of the City of St. Clair Shores at City Hall, 27600 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores, Michigan on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda will permit, to review the assessment roll, hear objections to the roll and confirm the roll for the Special Assessment District for the Dredging of the Benjamin Statler Canal. Please note that all aspects of the Roll are open for discussion at the Public Hearing, and interested persons may also direct written comments concerning this issue to the Office of the City Clerk, 27600 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081 prior to the time listed above.
