CITY OF CLAWSON PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING CHAPTER 34 “ZONING” ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Notice is hereby given that the Clawson Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on November 25, 2025, beginning at 7:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at Clawson City Hall, 425 N. Main St, Clawson, MI 48017. A teleconference attendance option will be provided. Meeting information will be provided on the City’s website: www.CityofClawson.com The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance. Amendments are proposed to Table 3.1.J.4.a.i, Table 3.1.J.4.b.i, Table 3.1.J.4.c.i, Table 3.1.J.4.d.i, Table 3.1.K.4.a.i, Table 3.1.K.4.b.i, Table 3.1.K.4.c.i, and Table 3.1.K.4.d.i to change the rear setback in the CC and CMD districts from 30 feet to 5 feet when the neighboring property is also zoned CC or CMD. Section 5.1 will also be amended to permit front yard parking in the CMD district on the south side of East 14 Mile Road. A copy of the proposed amendment is available for viewing on the City’s website (www.CityofClawson.com) and at Clawson City Hall, 425 N. Main St, Clawson, MI 48017, prior to the public hearing, during the City’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM through 5:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the City Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on November 25, 2025.
